Airbag dash light on

The other day I had my sunroof and front windows open and a freak rain storm came and rained in my car, I was able to get everything shut and dried pretty fast...and everything worked fine, but when I started the car up the airbag light came on. So I got home and pluged in my diagnostics tool to see if there was a fault code and I got nothing.....

During your haste in shutting everything down from getting wet did you accidently bump into or hit anything that might have triggered the sensor to go off??

I dont believe I did....its very odd...when everything first got wet the locks didnt work either, but after everything dried the locks came back on....but the airbag light remained on

My airbag light came on, the dealer reset it. They said it had something to do with the seatbelt retractor on the passenger side front seat.

go to the dealer and have them reset the airbag light.
