Ahh help with sunroof

Hey my sunroof only opens half way and you can watch it bind up. Also the thing you pull back is really lose up there and does not move very well. Anyone know how to fix this??? I'm curious if warranty will fix it or not. Wont know till all paper work comes in.

Just bought my car and had the same problem. The sunroof is getting stuck on the loose shader. Try to pull your shader out and then HOLD your sunroof button forward(stop if sun roof motor is still running). Holding it will reset the motor and it should close/ open all the way. From there you can adjust the shader and try to get it back on track and in place.

Yep, same problem on my '02 330ci. I just ripped the sunroof shade out of the car; it was old and faded anyways.

Known problem and heard it was a PITA to fix...
