Advise on body kits - BMW Forum

I'm looking for advise on body kits for a 2006 330i. Are they beneficial to handling or just cosmetic? Who makes the best and best looking front ends?
Does anyone do them pre-painted? Thanks.

I'm not a big fan of body kits; it's hard to get any that really benefit the car without adding more weight than they're worth.

Body kits are basically just cosmetic. Larger air intakes are usually good for brake cooling (if they are really functional), and in theory the spoilers do affect air drag, but not by much to be honest.

Your options are teh usual suspects:

- BMW M Tech
- Hamann
- AC Schnitzer

Google for pictures. It really is up to your taste.

It is extremely rar to find them prepainted. You will most likely be facing shipping costs, as well as paint shop xpenses.
