Advice: 04 or 05? Performance vs Sport package?

Is a 04 at 1.9% APR and $3100 of MSRP a better choice than waiting for an 05? If the 05 is the same car, then I will probably go for the 04 and try to get invoice . If there are changes, I might change my mind


I have always been an Audi fan but after test driving a 330i with sports package, I was hooked . Now it comes to buying my own, I am having a hard time choosing between the sport package and the performance package. Does the extra 10HP and extra torque really make a difference or is it just looks I really like the performance looks)?

Preformance Package 04. I doubt you will get much more of a break on it even if the 05 shows up.

The performance package (ZHP) includes the sport package - you can't get a 330 with both. You can get the 330 with just sport however. And yes it does make a performance difference, not a huge one, but noticeable to most who've driven both -

Sounds like a good deal to me. Perhaps the only way to get a better deal on a new one is to wait a year when the 05's are giving way to the new E90 - a new E46 will probably be cheaper than ever. But then who wants to wait that long for a new BMW when you are ready to buy now? Go for the 04!

perf pack makes a GIGANTIC difference. superior handling, better gearbox, not much difference in raw power, but still noticeable.
