Adjusting/aim of headlights

Hi, I just recently bought a BMW 325cic (e46) with xenons and I noticed his light beam was aimed really low. I don't know too much about cars and I was wondering if anyone could be so kind to help explain how to make the beam aim higher. I can barely see on the road and I am very reluctant to bring it to a dealership to do it. Thankyou in advance for the help!

There are adjusting screws. Sometimes the trim around the lights has to come off to get to them, but more often there is a whole for a screwdriver to get to them. The up/down adjuster is usually somewhere at the top of the light. When I aim the lights, I park on as level a surface as I can find with a wall in front of the car so I can see how much I moved the light.
