Adding HP's

I am looking to gain some more HP's - I have seen changing out air intake systems and was wondering what kind of power am i looking for and is it worth it.

Do i just change the filtration system or the sensor too? What is a good brand and price range if you know.

Also, I see programmers to peak out your cars setup, what do you think of these? What hp's am i looking at and what is a good brand

does any of this stuff void the warranty?

Other suggestion on gaining power would be greatly appreciated

intake alone doesnt give you very HP (maybe 10), and the programers are for OBDII cars. You can buy a chip (Conforti is the best) that will help with an OBD1 car, or a shark injector for OBDII.

dude, what kind of car do you have first of all?

.......also, remember, when modding your car, its a balancing act. you could gain hp by freeing up the intake, but that increase in power will result in a decrease somewhere else in the power band. you'll eventually want to look at free'ing up the exhaust, and chipping it. makes it more well rounded. ...just my opinion.
