I have a 2003 325I and want to gain a power point (ie like a cigar / cigarette lighter) in the boot / luggage compartment. I would prefer that power was only provided when the car is either in accessory mode or running. The power drain does not need to be high - ie max 1 to 2 amps.
Can anyone provide guidance as to whether their are any wire than can be tapped and if so how to find them / identify them.
p.s. The live wire is need to cause a subwofffer amp to switch on or like equipment. (High level power is then engaged by a direct circulte to the battery).
The BMW 325 tourer wagon actaulkly has a power socket in teh rear luggage area. |
