acceleration problem

I have a 2002 318CI and i have a problem with the accelerator. I was told by a mechanic that I need a "quick response chip" that will up the voltage supplied to the accelerator. Does anyone know where i can get this?

we had that here in the philippines and it cost arround 350 us dollar. you will just install it in the accelerator (i presumed you have electronic accelerator) and it will increase you acceleration
