AC snitcher question - BMW Forum

First of all hi guys, im a fan of bmw cars and recently ive decided to buy a second hand bmw. I live in greece btw
I went to this store and he had a 1,6 (316) ac snitcher and said that it is a limited model and it has 130hp. Is this true? can anyone confirm it?
He wants also 15000euro for it. The model is from 2000. What do you think?

What is the torque output? What was done to get 130HP? Getting that out of 1.6L is very unlikely!

If i knew the torque i could find the hp.
The retail store owner says its a special edition, says that ac snitcher tunes bmws and then sells them.
I checked the snitcher website but cant find anything really...

Few tuners would bother trying to get performance out of 1.6L, the greatest performance envelope from that size isn't worth all the work.

it's AC Schnitzer btw.
And I personally could believe the hp - the 318is e36 had 140 hp out of 1.8 liter
and the normal 316 compact had already 102 hp.
btw it's gotta be the compact model becaue noone would do that with a normal 3 series. What's the mileage?

The only AC Schnitzer version of the 3 series compact I have found so far was running a 3.2L

its the 316ci, not the compact model.
It has about 100.000km... hmm strange that this doesn't exist on any websites...

okay, I can pretty much assure you they haven't done that. This car sounds fishy, better look at others. Although, if I were in Greece right now, I wouldn't buy a car at the moment. Looks like they're all being lit up

I havent driven it yet, might pass by tomorrow.

Hehe yea some parts are burning but they exaggerate, either way i live on an island, far away from all of that.

It does sound fishy to me too, guess ill need to drive it to see

and maybe check the VIN... that should show you if it was really built by AC Schnitzer
