Ac lines?

One of my Audi friends asked me this question the other day.

"My gf has a E46 2000 323i. It has ac problem. There are two a/c lines on the passenger side of the engine (thin and thik pipe). thin pipe is leaking and needs to be replaced. I have no idea about the part number or where can I find cheaper."

I've never really done any work on an e46 so help me out!

Try Bavarian autosport for any parts you need for E46 BMWs. I've bought parts from them on several occasions. If what I've needed isn't listed in their catalog or on the web, BavAuto.com , I've called them. Their people have always been knowledgeable and I've always gotten the correct part.

Have you done a/c work before? The thin pipe is the high pressure side and the thicker pipe is the low pressure side. Just thought I'd ask before you break open the system...
