98 318i M43TUB19 Engine problems

Hi guys, I just joined your forum to check out if anyone could help me with my BMW.

The car is a 1998 318i with the M43TUB19, 87 kW engine. The problem is that it is only running on two cylinders (1 and 4). I tried checking the sparkplugs if they sparked and the only two that sparked was the first and the fourth.

My first assumption was that the coil-pack was gone, so I tried with a working coil-pack, but the problem remained, thereafter I tried changing the order of the coil-cords to check if those were the problem, but still no sparks at #2 and #3. My next assumption was that the DME was broken, so I checked it and i couldn't see any signs of it being burnt or melted. So now am I wondering, could it be the DME being broken without any signs of it or do you guys have any other ideas?
