Hey friends.

I have a 2002 330d with 135kw motor (185bhp)

Who can direct me to a websight or forum or so that explain and point out the differance between the m57d30 and m57tud30 motor used in the same car from 2003 onwards and here in South africa in some 2002 models....?

although i cant give u a link i may be able to help.
the tu engine had the introduction of swirl flaps on the inlet manifold.
this alters the route in which the air enters the engine at differant engine speeds, thus giving more power in parts of the rev range.
you may have heard of these on the 2 litre engine and the stories of them breaking of and entering the combustion chamber
