My 330 ci just failed MOT ..Grr!!! both bottom ball joints worn.. to add insult to injury gonna cost me £ 130.00 each side I am not being funny but the car has only coverd 23k.. dont live up a dusty track or a farm lane.. just suburbia.. has anyone experienced this problem before..?? am looking to take this out with BMW so any advice information or corrispondenc will be of great use to me..
330 with 23K sounds like a warranty issue. Unfortunately failure of the front lower ball joints is common among e46's. I have been unable to find the balljoint only for sale, all I can find is the control arm assembley.
