330 auto diff to 325ti

I want to put a 3.38 diff from 330 auto to my 325 compact.
The car has engine swap and everything else from a 325,exept from the drive shaft and diff which are from 318ti,as it used to be at the beggining.So,i have the small diff now,but i like the shorter final drive of 3.38 that it has from original 3.23 on 325ti or 3.15 on 325Ci.So the only solution is to put the big diff from a 330 auto that has the same final drive

The problem is that i dont know yet what am i going to do with the drive shaft.
My car is manual,i will need a drive shaft from manual bacause of the length but i dont know yet if its going to be from a 330 manual or another 6cylinder e46.

Someone has put a diff from a X3 to his 330 auto,and said that the drive shaft from the 330 is not adjustable as the other drive shafts.I did a search and find that the length of a 325 manual drive shaft is 1585mm and from a 330 manual is 1550mm..So i think that somewhere there is the lenght that i'll need.But the question is: Does the 330 drive shaft can be adjust with these 35 mm or not???Is it going to be safe?

The other problem is that if i'm going to use a drive shaft from a 325,that it is more adjustable than the 330,how am i going to fit the 330 6 bolt CV joint attachment to the differential,to the 4 bolt conventional U-joint attachment on every other E46 on their drive shafts???

Does anyone has done it before?Is there any advice or help that you can give me?
