328i Powerchip Modification - BMW Forum

For what it's worth,
After much research I, and another gent on another BMW site, have discovered a company, Powerchip USA, that is doing an ECU mod for the lowly 328i. The gent I refer to is taking his car in on Monday Mar.23 and will advise the outcome. He is going to do before and after dyno runs. Powerchip representatives claim 22-26 HP gain and torque about the same at the rear wheels. They do want $690. for the product. They send you a cable and one must have a lap top and wireless. You must download all your cars info., send it to them and then they send you a program for your specific car, modifications and fuel burned considered. There is also a company in the UK that does the same but you have to send them your ECU. They are considerably cheaper but then you have to consider shipping. See below links.

Honestly, you probably won't see anywhere near that much hp/trq from a chip.
And $690 is way overpriced imo. Turnermotorsport sells the shark injector for $349 and it does the same thing if not better.

Guess I should have been more explicit. I've got a 2009 and their are many products out there but none seem to make it all the way to this year, 2009. The shark looks good and you make a valid point but it's only good for up to 2005 models. If you know where something like that can be found for a 2009 328i please advise.
