Does anyone know if these are dimensionally interchangeable as I can find urethane bushings for the i but not the xi. My gut tells me they are the same and I could upgrade but I wanted to check with any experience out there.

They're quite a bit different actually. Regular e46 has a totally different control arm than xi. The bushings on an xi have a round hole in the center to accomodate a round arm and the e46 325i bushings have a hexagon type hole. Lastly the e46 325i bushing comes already in a housing. The xi bushings are pressed in and out of the housing which coincidentally is the identical housing for an e30 325.
