325i sport package - swinging around

First, accept my excuse for the bad english...

I have a 325 2003 with sport package (wheels 225/45/17). In the summer I run Michelin Pilot sport PS2 (which I bought new) and during the winter (my first winter with this car) Yokohama AVS winter (same size on the mag wheels), tires that was already on the car when I bought it last spring.

When I drive on road that have imperfections (I live in Quebec, Canada and we don't have autobahn here...) the car swing from one side to the other. It happens more often when the car sink in those big trace left by a dense circulation.

The alignment has been done with the new tires in april. The pressure of the tires is ok. The wheels are all straight. I'm left with maybe a car that was accidented (but I think the alignment machine would have detected that)... a defect piece (the car have 25 000km) or a normal but unwanted reaction of the large tire with bad roads !

Anyone has the same experience... ?

Welcome to rear-wheel drive Gringo. :-) My car does the same thing on snowy or icy roads. The only real solution is to drive slower... or just don't drive if the roads are that bad.
