Just broke in my 325i (2600 KMS on the clock), and now, it feels slower than when it was new...I am not sure if I am just used to it already...

I drove it in a race track once, and made a mis shift with my SMG, thought it was on 3rd, wanted to shift to 2nd...turns out, it was already in 2nd, shifted to 1st. Car hit the rev limiter bounced a couple of times...and was able to shift it back to second immediately...

Would that have anything to do with it?

It is a 2004...

I actually have 6 speed on my SMG...

That is good to hear (that I am just getting used to it, which means there is probably nothing wrong with the car)...but then, it also sucks cause it is not as exciting anymore.

since it is such a new car, I think i will wait until after the warranty period before I start looking for mods to improve the power...

Thanks for your help!

If you're looking for excitement, then find 10 miles of winding narrow road, sharp close turns are the best, drive that road at max speed you can tolerate...
It is exillirating!

Yeah, it is a lot of fun, already brought it to te race track...You're right, nothing beats a perfectly executed heel and toe downshift using a manual tranny.

Although when I was at the track, I drove a car that is lighter all day long, and when I drove my car, I had to break much earlier because of the weight...that kinda put me down.
