325i problems

heres a list of things wrong with my car i bought 2 days ago lol

1-car isnt starting even after new starter
2-passenger rear window isnt automatic up
3-the buttons on the key dont work(dealer said the more i drive the key recharges?)
4-it didnt come with a users manual

sorry for all the questions, i went from driving a 94 toyota pickup to an 03 bmw, its alil to fancy for me haha, but i love the car

The car is not starting because there is a problem with the key. You just replaced a perfectly working starter! Diagnose before throwing money into changing parts out.

Absolutely correct, if the key wont charge get a new batt put in it, then you will find all will work.

ok so heres the deal, the starter was bad it grinded when turning over, and when the stater died it drained the battery, so the dealer replaced everything for free an it fixed all my problems, and for the key it just had to be reprogrammed which bmw did for me in like 1min

I must have misunderstood your original post. The way you typed it, it looks like you tried to replace the starter yourself when the car wouldn't start up. Was this a BMW dealership you bought the car from? If so, was it a CPO?

That sure is nice to have all that fixed for free!

What about the passenger side rear window not automatically rolling up. Is that working again?

You can also get user manuals from eBay, but it seems like your dealer may get you a copy of the manuals, since they are willing to replace a starter and everything for you for free.
