| 325i EML light coming on and engine goes into limp mode
Hi
Just got my first bmw running, got it wholesale from a dealer after someone overheated it and cooked the motor. It's up and runnig now but the problem I'm fighting is that every so often the EML lite comes on along with the ASC and BRAKE warning light then the engine goes into limp mode. No codes are stored. After it sits a bit, it runs fine again. Any thoughts?? if it was an engin sensor I would expect some codes stored, and I did not think that a ASC error caused the EML and limp mode.
