| 325i 2002 Auto Gear Shifter Stuck in Park...
Hello! I already ran a SEARCH and didn't find an answer...
My 2002 325i w/sport package automatic shifter is getting "stuck" in Park. It has done it on a decline, incline and level terrain. Seat belt on, parking brake on, foot on brake pedal, key in ignition with engine started, depressing button on shifter and it gets stuck. It only does it from Park to any other mode. Once it's out of Park, it works normal, including going back into Park. It's done in maybe five times in the last six months and now it's done it four times this morning. Air temp was 50 degrees F. What's up? Please help...thanks for your input. By the way, mileage is 109K and it is well maintained and a prior cetified pre-owned vehicle. I'm the second owner and bought it from a dealer... |
