Last week my girlfriend was driving my 2001 325ci (automatic) and as she was coasting toward the parking spot...the car stalled and the engine light came on.
We didn't think much ot it until today when I couldnt start the car at all.
I drove it to a friend's house...was there for an hour...came back and the car would not even turn. All the electronics were on...and so was the engine light.
The roadside tow truck came and managed to start it on the second try.
It turned once the 1st time...then started on the second try.
i got 82000km on it.
02 sensor? anybody? how much would it cost to diagnose/fix?
Similar thing happened to me. I had to get a new engine block. Not to scare you or anything, it could be anything. If you want, do a search for my previous post.
