323 bad?

im close to buying a 328 ci from a guy n i told him that i was comparing it with a 323 ci n he gave me a big NONO to the 323 he told me that 323's were a like "Geinne pig" (spelling error?) for the Z-series he told me that they put a weak engine in a heavy car and it dind't go well so they got rid of the 323's and put the engine in the Z - series
does anyone kno if this is true?! 0_0 .. i sure hope not..

listen there is absolutely nothing wrong with the 323 , its the same damn car as the 328 with a bigger displaced inline 6 and more gadgets, other than that , the car is the same thing, the 323, replaced the 318 and the 320, so it is now the base model, but far from base.

Doesn't the 323 have the same engine as the 325? A 2.5L straight six, but the only difference is a different head and ECU.

i cant remember everything off hand, but the exhaust, intake, ECU and basically a whole new tweeked engine are whats diff. M52TU=323 M54=325.

Both are 2.5 inline six

325=184hp 175tq
323=170hp 181tq
