Firstly, some amazing info on this forum so thanks so far!!

Would be grateful if somebody could clarify the following

Driving in Snow - should DSC be on (ie light off - i think!) or should it be off (ie light on - i think!).

Also I have a really annoying rattle coming from the rear left of the driver (right hand drive) I think from the roof mechanism somewhere near the rear back seat - anybody else had a problem / have a solution.

DSC will be a good save for you in snow, i wish i had it. but in times when you are stuck , and the wheels wont turn because of the DSC than of course take it off. This will usually only occur on steep snow covered hills.

as for the rattle, pinpoint the rattle and then you should get back to us. get a buddy to sit in the car, opposite backseat and then between the two of you , you can pinpoint a general area.

As far as can make out it is a rattle which appears to be coming from within the fabric / workings of the roof near the rear headrest. I had the roof down last night to transport something I couldn't get in the boot. When I put it back up it was fine for a while then it came back.
