318d Problem, Please Help Me!!!

Hello everybody,

I have a 318d from 2002. The behavior of the care had changed from when I bought it. The engine doesn't seem to provide enough power. The car is so slow; it struggles to accelerate when I press the gas. And the fuel consumption is much over then normal limit. What can be wrong?

Please help me, any suggestion is welcomed!!!

Ummm dunno if this helps but the turbos in the turbo diesels are prone to playing up...some just break...so the turbo could be the problem...just get it checked out at a BMW dealer

As far as I know the problem is from the measurer of air mass, You must change it ! The better way is to visit a BMW dealer.
