31.5k for 325i with premium + sports + heated, dea

Hey guys...

I came back from bmw dealer today...put a hold on the car...it's jet black/black leatherette/manual/premium pkg/sports pkg/heated seats for 31.5k. It's a 2004 model so the lady saids she's only charging me 400 bucks over invoice. This of is not the 325xi, they are all sold out for 2004 but when I saw the guy pull up the 325i today...wow...it blew me away. The tires very damn nice! Did they lowered the suspension for sports package? When I went in and check the leatherette, it didn't feel no difference than the real leather except it doesn't have the leather smell of course. Car was mint, 2 miles on it...wow.....sporty!!!...I couldn't resist and had to hold a deposit on the car.....the spare tire is also a full size with the sports rim...

Do you guys think that's a good deal for the car? I still have 2 more days to think about it...

That seemed like a pretty good price to me so I built it on BMWUSA.com and I come up with 33,795 with those packages and color combination. I'd say 31.5 is pretty good!

As for it being lowered, yes, those 3's w/ the Sport Package sit a bit lower than those without.

The only thing this car doesn't have, unless you forgot to mention it, that you may regret are the xenon headlights.

Either way, that sounds like a good deal to me

When the 03-04 bodies of the 325i sedans came out they were marked up! I got mine with all the packages and the MUST-HAVE bi-xenons for 36K but that is after I got a 4K discount from the marked up price of 40K. So if this is a brand new one, jump at it! you can't get a better deal! The only thing is that you wanna make sure ti is 04, since they added BMW assist to it, which is not neccessarily an invaluable thing. but it is nice to have. for example if you ever run out of gas, they will direct you to the closest gas station for free. Or they will direct you to any where you want for 4.95 per use. But the free concierge service is unbeatable. it is like having a butler at your fingertips.

The only thing is the Jet Black color. my 3-er is the metallic Black which does nto show dirt as much. btu I just got a 5-er Jet Black. this thing needs to be washed every SINGLE DAY! so if you are like me and can't stand dust on your baby, then get a Sapphire Metallic Black! Besides, the Jet Black looks only nicer on the 5 and 7. I personally prefer the MEtallic one on the 3-s.

doesn't have xenon lights...and it's 04 model...

i would perfer a metallic black but they don't have it...now that i am thinking...not sure if i want black/black...it might be too dark...

is your black/black too dark?

not sure if i should wait for the 06 model...

I think black on black is a great color combo - mine is sapphire black on black leather. I looked at several black ones with grey and camel interior - didn't care for either of those.

Black on black will always be easy to sell.

Even if they had a sapphire black metallic one - you'd pay a little more for it.

I told the sales lady...that I am turning down the offer and probably wait for the 2006 model...

HAHA...she drops another 400 bucks and it's now $31,175 (think she's only making 200 above invoice)

I guess they really have the get rid of the inventory before Sept rolls around with the 05's
