2005 model - BMW Forum

Can anyone give me information on a 2005 318 Ci (2.0 ltr) coupe?
It's an overseas car with 18,000miles for $10,000. Besides a few cosmetic dings it looks good. The owner is a co-worker who bought it new in 05. I've ridden in it several times and it seems like a good car. Is this a BMW lemon or can I get another 5 years 100,000 miles without a lot of headaches?

If it was serviced rightly, it should be a very good car. Does it have records?

You should be able to get a long life (way more than 5 yrs, 100k mi) out of that car. The price also sounds about right (nothing lost in trying to get a better deal, however).

Like witeshark said, it is best if you are provided with the service records. In general terms, it is hard to cause great damage to a car in just 18k miles, so you should be good to go
