2005 3 (E90)

Hello All,

I am privileged to join this forum and hope to be a welcome and productive addition!

Please forgive me if this topic has been covered extensively...

Does anyone have FACTUAL information about the 2005 3 and 4 series? I have been searching in vain to find spy shots and yet all I seem to find is airbrushed photo shop renditions.

What engines will be available? The standard 2.5 and 3.0? What about pricing and option packages? Will they be made in South Africa as well as in Germany? ANY info is appreciated!

If I beg, plead, and whine enough, perhaps my wife will allow me to get a base 330 with sport package, 5 speed. Then, if I'm really good, I will add an AAtuning supercharger...

I can tell you the basic e90 info. I have already posted this in like 4 other threads.


There will be no coupes or convertible 3 series' starting with the e90. Alll coupes and convertibles will be labeled 4 series.

BMW is going back to their old system of labeling coupes as even numbers, and sedans as odd numbers.

You might also drop by your local bookstore. many of this month's car mags are reporting on the future of BMW. After seeing a post on this forum {CLICK HERE} I went out immediately (i mean within 19 seconds of seeing this post) and picked up that mag and a few others.

guess it will be time to break open the piggy bank soon....
