| 2004 SAV/3.0 won't shift properly
New to this site & first time owner-Have a 2004 with VERY LOW mileage-6700.
I bought it new in Nov 2003.
Have had repeated instances over past year where "service engine " light comes on and vehicle won't upshift from low gear--Had to exceed 60MPH on Mass Pike to accomplish an upshift in latest incident.
Dealer tells me they can't figure out what's wrong, although they did replace an ignition coil on last trip in which was early Dec 2006.
Vehicle back in this morning for 3rd time in last 6 months, during which time I've only driven it about 10 times--one service rep said problem was I wasn't driving it enough.
Any comments, suggestions, similar experiences would be most helpful-Thanks
