I recently purchased a 2004 325i. I only test drove it in town and then realized after buying it that it is horribly uncomfortable for me to drive for long periods of time.
I don't have power seats so all the adjustments I do are manual which doesn't help matters, but for my legs to not be horribly uncomfortable I have to put the seat in the highest position which puts my eye level with the top of the rear view mirror. Additionally, I need the seat to tilt forward which it doesn't do. I have a "wedge" seat that I've tried but it's just not enough...
I'm regretting the decision to buy this car now b/c even though it is so cute and I love the way it drives so much, it hurts to take it any distance...
I'm on the verge of trading it in at a loss but am looking for any last ditch attempts to be comfortable in it so I don't have to.
Has anyone ever heard of this or experienced it? Is it just me? Btw...I'm a 5'6" female so I'm bewildered that I'm having this problem.
hmmm manual seats.... how long have you had it?.... maybe try the buyer's remorse thing.... and see if you can get another car with power seats... maybe see if power eats can be installed... not sure how though...

Also just discovered that I have vinyl seats and not leather as was on the sticker...
I've decided to figure out a way to live with the "uncomforableness" of the seats...I bought some various cushions...but I'm going to the dealer tomorrow to talk about the leather thing.
Maybe I will like them better if they're real leather!
^^ if it said leather on you bill of sale have them swap them out for leather ones. Or if they don't take that, just barter with them if you payed for leather you should get leather. have them take the cost for some of the swap(take it back to where you bought it) if it said leather on the dealer tag and you got vinyl you should at least get some money back....
