2003 325I Transmission problems.

Hi,

I bought a new 325I in August of 2003.

I have been having problems with the car ever since I got it.

When the car is cold and I try to start it and put it in Drive, the car does not move. No matter how much I step on the accelerator.

Also, the pick up of the is very low. I have to really try to accelerate even for small upgrades.

Now the dealer says that the entire transmission has to be replaced.

Does any one have similar problems.
