2002 BMW 330i, BRAKE LIGHT,TRACTION LIGHT ON!!!!

MY 330i, RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT, BUT RECENTLY I HAD THE BRAKE LIGHT, THE TRACTION LIGHT(TRIANGLE LIGHT) CAME ON.

I THOUGHT IT WAS THE BRAKES SO I PUT NEW BRAKES FRONT AND SENSORS, BUT IT DIDNT HELP !!!

ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHATS GOING ON ?

How long since the brake fluid was replaced?

When I turn off the traction control it has both brake and traction control light on at the same time.

Well I took it down to this place and they said it is the crank angle sensor ? Any input on this ?

They probably had one on the shelf

It could be a wheel speed sensor. I have the same thing going on with my car. Each wheel has a sensor and if one goes bad then your traction control will not work. To find out what one it is you must check each sensor. I suggest buying a new one on ebay for around $50 then go from there

this has just happened to my 330 and it happened soon after i had my bottom arms fitted got my steering wheel as gone to the left got told this could ov made the lights stay on will no monday when i get the tracking done
