| Just wondering if there's anyone else out there who has a 2001 325i with the infamous "over-boosted" steering feel for that year. Mine feels unstable at highway speeds and refuses to track straight ahead without constant guidance. I've had the pleasure of driving a 2000 323i, a 2004 M3 and various other BMWs and all have a very stable and firm steering feel.
I recently contacted BMW after reading about the "retro-fit" program offered by BMW listed elsewhere on this website but was told that only the 330i was offered for retrofit by BMW - not the 325i.
Why is this the case? Does the 325i not warrant the original BMW "feel"? Has anyone else had an issue with this as well? I'd love to hear from you. Help! |
