2001 ci one headlight goes off and on

The right headlamp comes on at first then goes off if a couple of minutes usually. It will come back on when I switch the lights off and then back on. Then the same thing will happen, it will go out. Once in a while both right and left will go off. and they come back on if switched off and on. Only to go off again. This is getting on my nerves. Any ideas what I could do to fix this?

Could be an alternator/battery issue, or even the LCM !!
Mine does this, but my idle speed is suffering due to lack of service (don't think its related)...
