2001 BMW 330CI wont start

My 2001 BMW 330CI e46 The last week my car sometime wont start when I turn ignition key to start not thing happen and keep try It will start the battery good even put the jumper it still wont start some time Itake key off and reinsert try again the car start I think some thing wrong with ignition key switch electrical problem. Someone know the problem please help. Thanks. NV

I have come across this problem on BMW's so...............many .............times, IGNITION SWITCH.

New one required or take it apart and clean the contacts.

car battery flat on e46 2002 and jumper started last week and fine for a few day and was cold and didnt start so changed battery and nothing at all .. all lights working ,radio etc but does not start /... what can it be ???? help

Sorry being thick ';;;;; where the keys goes inside car ..sorrry
