Hi...I am planning to buy a used 2001 325i with 30K on it. The asking price is around 22k. Do you guys think it is worth it? It has steptronic transmission, sports package, moonroof, etc. etc.
I would say that's a pretty good deal. I got my 2001 325Ci in Canada for $30,000 with 56000km on it. Your's sounds pretty close, except I think you're even getting a better deal than I did. Sure you don't want to go for the manual?
I would really prefer a manual transmission for an automatic. But you know, I dont want to pass a good deal like this. this one has warranty for one more year too.
Thanks
SJ.

I got my '01 325Ci with 24K on it here is San Diego in June of 2003 for $25K. It also has the sport package, and sunroof, but also has the HK audio and red Montana leather package, but had a manual tranny. That steptronic transmission was over $1K extra, so 22K it not a bad deal for the mileage. The steptronic I tried on an Audi A4 made it feel pretty quick, even for a 1.7L engine, so I suppose it would feel good on that 2.5.L BMW. I like the manual sometimes, but an automatic would come in handy when I'm with my girl. You get the best of both worlds with the steptronic.
