2001 330 Ci - Question About Brakes

My 2001 330CI is exactly 4 years old from manufacture date and at 60K miles. I just had the Inspection II done and they said nothing about my brakes. I drive pretty conservatively. When should I start thinking about new brakes?

When the yellow warning light for the brake pads comes on on the dashboard,then is time to change pads and perhaps the rotors.Make sure to change the brake fluid every 2 years, it is very important for brake components durability !

agreed, but I would check them even before that just to be on the safe side. Sounds like you haven't checked them all yet.

have them check the front for thickness of the rotor. back very likely still ok.

remeber: the 4 year warrantyl covers wear items, such as rotors and pads.
