Hey Guy's, Newbie here. I just bought this vehicle. It has 148,000 miles on it. It has been meticulously dealer maintained. My question is there anything I should be concerned about wearing out. I have an option to pick up an engine, transmission, partial electrical extended warranty for 2k coverage is 5yr/50,000 miles. I am wondering if this is worth it. Car just had replaced power steering lines, springs, shocks, tires, CV boots, and a couple of gaskets. Any info is appreciated.

I suppose it all depends on your DIY skills 2k is a lot of money, but if the trans goes its paid for itself and @ 148,000 its not had a trans service due to BMW's silly idea of lifetime fluid which is total rubbish, So if your unable to diy and do things like change the trans fluid and filter, I would say go for it, it also depends how quick you use up 50,000 miles....
