but they haven't done anything(maintenance) yet as it only has 12k miles. no oil changes, no nothing. too risky ? 5 speed, leather, moon roof, all wheel drive (cassette (blah), no cd). did 2001's use synthetic oil ? did 2001 have 15k oil change intervals ? i could call dealership i guess... they will turn in to dealer in march, and dealer will sell to me for residual.

Basically the answer to your questions are NO dont worry about the maintenance at such a young age, no matter whether its being sold to you new or used the service interval is still 15k miles, I mean thats a no brainer. Just look it over real good and listen for any possible problems. Its a 325 AWD so the chances it was abused heavily are less of a factor, but you never know with those AWD systems.

Secondly on my 330i Yes its 15K miles and Yes it uses Castrol Synthetic oil.

Thats a really good price. Take it.

I'd jump on it. Good price, low mileage.

Just to be safe, run a carfax. Is it a dealership selling the car, and were they the ones who sold it the first time?
