Hey Folks ! I have a 2000 323ci convertible and since its gotten warm outside it jerks a bit when the transmission shifts down into first. It is not enough to jerk me but I can hear the car downshift and it never used to do that, just doesn't sound right. Any suggestions????

Your best bet would be to go to your dealer and ask them to check for any software updates which might apply to your EGS (transmission) control module. There have been several but w/o reading out the programmed control module #s from your unit nobody here can really help you. Take it to the dealer tell them your complaint and they can look for updates or call their technical hotline and ask them for an update. Good luck....keep us posted.
