Are 2000 318ci a reliable BMW

Hi

I am looking at getting my first car and I have come across a really good looking 2000 BMW 318ci.
I trying to get a car that will last me the next 6-10 years without any major problems.
It has done 120,000Miles (190,000KM) which is a few, what issues can i expect after it doing this many miles.

Has the auto transmission been serviced with new fluid? Are there complete service records?

They are quite rebliable cars, the same as most other major brands. Their reliabilty is increased when they have been properly taken care of and all the required mainteance has been completed. Always ask for a copy of the service records. If their are none, walk away.

190,000 km is chump change for these cars. Mine has 262,000 and still runs strong. I except to easily get 350-400,000 out of mine without any major issues. Of course their were common issues with certain parts needing to be replaced at certain times, but that is common with every brand of car.
