1999 BMW 328i Dashboard light

I bought this car used a few years ago and it didn't come with a manual, so that's why I joined here and am asking this question.

This light comes on in the morning when its cold but usually goes off after the car has been running for about 30 seconds. It seems like it's the antifreeze or the water in the radiator icon. I just wanted to see if y'all knew what it meant.

And I'm not referring to the washer fluid icon; Haha, I'm referring to the one below it.

Yes it's the low coolant icon. Check your coolant level in the morning before you start the car. Add a 50/50 mix to the tank if necessary. If the light comes back on you have a leak. Our 2000 323i had the same problem. Turned out to be a leak in the coolant expansion tank. Check for any signs of dried coolant on the tank. If there is replace the tank. Not a hard job. Good luck.

Be aware... Check the level first as these sensors are often a common fault, and do fail !!
Mine has, and I need a new one... If everthing is ok with the levels etc. then you can remove the plug to the sensor and "cross" the terminals to put the light out !!
