| 1999 328i asking for your insight I have been looking around for a new car and managed to come across a 1999 BMW 328i for 15 900$ Canadian (14,640 USD). The car is in immaculate condition but there is one thing that has slowed the buying of this car down alot, 190,000 km which is 118 miles. The was serviced throughout it's years first by the BMW dealership and then by a shop that specializes in European cars. Apparently the car has that many km on it because a local Saskatoon doctor commuted to his practice outside of town. The owner gives off the impression that these highway kilometres are much better for the car than if it had been driven in the city for almost 200,000 Km. Would this only really have any effect on the transmission? Is this car likely to have need for many parts to be replaced in the next 3 years or so?
Thanks in advance. |
