18" Wheels Mod. 135m - BMW Forum

I am close to buying a 2003 330XdA in Germany which, as is often the case with cars from that country, is loaded. One option are the 18" 135M wheels but I read in the current E46 brochure that one can expect reduced comfort and reduced steering lock - and this is in the BMW brochure. Is this the case - should I try to change the wheels with the seller who is a dealer and probably has some he would swap???

As this is going to happen in the next few days, any advice would be very welcome.

when i bought my mini,,it had BIG run flat wheels as an option...i chose them
it was awful bang bang crash......so i swapped em for the standard wheels.

much better and the ride was still firm but less banging around..the fuel economy was better..the noise was better
AND ididnt lose any road handling..in fact,,i reckon it was better after the change!
