Which 18" Wheels To Buy?

I want to change to look of my 2001 Black 330i 4 door.
I am undecided between two sets of wheels.
Both are factory replica's and will fit on the E46.

The Style 42's (designed after the 5 series)
18 by 8.5, 225/40's all around.

The CSL's (M3 replica)
18 by 8.5, 225/40 front
18 by 9.5, 245/35 rear

Both are around $800 USD.
Looking for a mean look for the bimmer.
What do you think would look better.

I put these on mine. They look sick when they are rolling. I chose silver because that what my car is. They are available in chrome and gunmetal but I like to keep it classy not flashy.

Can the tires be bigger without rubbing the inside fender.

If I go for the CSL's, what is the biggest tire I can fit in the front and back of the car?
The rims are staggered, as stated above.
The car has not been lowered, is a 2001 330i without the sport package.
Anyone with first hand experience.
