Sorry about advertising. It is more in the way of hooking people up witha good deal. And no, a chip cannot do what this does. It is a solid state analog box that modifies sensor info on a set ratio to increase horsepower by adjusting the fuel/air ratio mixture.

it changes the value that the temperature sensor is sending to the ecu. It is all ratios tho so it isnt a hard number. It varies depending on what the temp sensor is sending.

It works well, and they have lifetime warranties. Not much else you can do to insure that the manufacturer stands behind his product...:-)
