06 330i extended warrranty question

Just bought an 06 330i off ebay. The dealer recommends a company called Prizm Administrative Solutions. Has anyone heard of them or had dealings with them. Also has anyone had to use their extended warranty and can you recommend a company. Or on the other hand had bad service and not recommend a company? Thanks

I got mine through Auto Warranty Broker (Insured Extended Car Warranties by Auto Warranty Broker) and it's covered by Mercury Insurance. Initially I was going to go through the one recommended by the dealer but it was about $3K. This one came to about $1,800 with $300 down deposit and 15 credit card installments if I'm not mistaken. I've already had 2 claims (bushings and ac compressor) and they've come through fine.

Btw, does this '06 already have more than 50k miles? If not you should still be covered by factory warranty.

Thanks to both of you for responding. I'll look into both. I have 15000 miles on my 330 so that leaves me about two years and or 35,000 miles left on my current factory warranty.
Would you recomend getting an extended now with less miles or waiting till my current warranty is about exhausted. I would assume if I waited it would cost more because the car will be older and have more miles, but on the other hand if I get one now I would then have two warraties overlapping for a short period of time thus waisting some money in that case?

I'd wait until you need it. That's what I did. Why buy something you don't need now and who know if you'll still have the car 2 years down the road? Good luck!
