'04 325i, Tail light harness/pigtail & circuit

I've been searching for a wiring harness online and here without a lot of luck. I have one "female tab" inside the female part of the harness that connects to the driver side taillight circuit that is burned. Blinker works intermittently. The metal counterpart tab on the circuit is burned as well. I can find the taillight, but not the harness.

Is this a whole rear harness, or a pigtail that connects down inside the trunk cavity or frame area?

You might have some better luck in the E46 section. If you don't want new parts just call vinesauto in AL and they can ship out the parts to you. They are very helpful and will only sell you what you need to get that replaced. You might have to so some wiresplicing if you do not want to worry with re running the wires, I'm not sure how the E46 tail light wires work.

I had the same issue in my 99 E46. Mine was in the housing itself which I believe is the male part however, when I went to the dealer (yeah I did) they gave me the housing and a pig tail wire to repace the one that was burnt out. So you should be able to just replace the wire that is bad with a splice I assume. You should't have to repalce the whole harnes because I belive that it runs all the way to the fuse box. I might be wrong. But a simlpe wire splice should suffice. As to were to get after market none dealer part for this I am unsure. the wire from the dealer was like $4-6 with the right female connection.
