I start my car up and no noises, but when i turn the steering wheel it get a knocking sound. My power steering fluid is good, and the belt is on the pump. It is not a whining noise like u would think for a power steering pump. Any ideas on what it could be?
Probably a worn suspension part or there's something wrong with the steering box, best thing to do is either get it up in the air or jack the front up and get somebody to turn the wheel while you try and locate the noise....
