| ask about the window regulators (they tend to jam up) see which ones have been replaced, and make sure the moonroof cover stays on its tracks well when it slides back and forth. check out the spare tire cause if the guy hit a curb he would most likely hide the damaged wheel, and make sure the brake lights work (the bulbs burn out frequently for some reason). sometimes on the radio volume knob, if you spin it backwards quickly the radio volume jumps way up (thats not really a problem just something some of the e46s do). also, when you first start the car up, the obc (on board computer, under the speedo) will tell you how many miles you have till the next oil change, and if the number is negative then you should ask about it if its a private seller(the obc's oil service #'s arent always accurate) |
